Military Ammo Chest Rig (Type A)
Original military issue chest rig designed to hold loaded stripper-clips complete with original Chinese stampings. A piece of rubberized sheet was found in the last pouch of the rig. Likely meant to be wrapped around the oil bottle to protect the rig from aggressive lubricants or bore cleaners.

Military Ammo Chest Rig (Type B)
Similar to the type A shown above, this variation came directly from a Chinese supplier and has many characteristics in common with the more common type A rig. The main difference in the type B version is the use of tie-closures rather than wooden buttons. There are no Chinese stamping on this unit and the true purpose of this variation is unknown.

Canvas Carrying Case
Original Chinese military issue canvas SKS case complete with internal Chinese stamping. The case nicely fits the rifle and has one main strap to tie closed and one large strap for carrying. This case also shows to have several internal reinforcement layers to prevent premature wearing/tearing of the material in key locations.

Leather Ammo Pouch
Designed to carry loaded stripper-clips, this leather version has the "low" belt loops that would carry the pouch low on the waist line, and is thought to be the first pouch implemented by the Chinese. Shown here complete with intact stampings.

Green Ammo Pouch (Type A)
Also designed to carry loaded stripper-clips, this version has the "high" belt loops that would carry the pouch high on the waist line. Complete with intact stampings.

Green Ammo Pouch (Type B)
Also designed to carry loaded stripper-clips, this version has the "low" belt loops that would carry the pouch low on the waist line. Complete with intact stampings.

Green Canvas with Leather Tabs
Fairly common sling at this point, but still a military correct issue sling. (they are also historically accurate for SKSs used by the Albanians, at least to some degree).

Green Canvas Coil-End Sling
Fairly common sling at this point, but still a military correct issue sling. (they are also historically accurate for SKSs used by the Albanians, at least to some degree).

Leather Sling with Leather Tabs
Not much is known about this sling other then it came from a reliable source in china and shows almost identical construction characteristics as the canvas slings and is reported to be an sks sling.

Black Canvas Sling with Leather Tabs
Another canvas sling thought to be authentic Chinese military, and they are basically copies of the khaki and green leather-tab slings we are used to seeing, so anything is possible. Production had to be recent or ongoing as this item is in brand new condition and lacks mildew common to surplus items.

Tan Canvas Sling with Leather Dog-Collar Ends
This is thought to be a very early sling and is somewhat uncommon. The leather buckle ends are an interesting feature while the rest of the sling appears to be fairly standard for a Chinese canvas sling.

JUNGLE STOCKS
These stocks were intended as replacements for rifles in humid climates as to eliminate rotting of wooden stocks. There is an ongoing debate as to whether rifles were ever actually issued with these stocks.
