honor guard

These rifles are still in use by the Chinese Honor Guard. Many parts of the rifles have been chromed with a few altered components such as a wider handguard ferrule and a cupped buttplate assembly. Only a very limited number of these rifles were imported and the exact numbers are currently unknown. A certificate of authenticity accompanied these rifles with purchase which are stamped with a red star stating China North Industries Corporation, the rifles serial number, and the date certified.

Andy Sun of CA imported 600 of these rifles in 1993 during the Clinton ban on bayonets. Andy acquired  boyos of unknown origin then had them chromed and installed them on the rifles. Andy had sold roughly 2/3 of the 600 rifles before Don at Omega took over the remaining rifles. Don did not have bayos chromed and installed, so any rifle bought through him would have not had a bayo installed. Not a single bayo found on these rifles will be original from China.
