The receivers are stamped MOD.KS-30

This SKS has a 16.5 inch pinned barrel, stamped trigger group and a standard length gas system . The front sight block is what I call stubby. Look at the distance between the sight and the cleaning rod holder. There is a spring loaded ball retainer in that nub the cleaning rod goes through. AKA cleaning rod holder. This is the same FSB as use on early Sporters. Most of the purists like this version because of the military style stock.  I don't know the story behind the markings on this rifle. This rifle is also stamped SKS-5 F. S. A. JC INT'L EL MONT CA.
If you know the story on the markings or the importer shoot me an E-mail @ [email protected] Thank you

I have seen pics of three of these rifles and this is the only one seen close enough to see the serial number and markings. only one importer. F. S. A. JC INT'L EL MONT CA.
